HOW THE ATTIC CAME TO BE

Orlaith Carroll, the owner of The Attic, is an award-winning designer and a graduate of the prestigious Limerick School of Art and Design (LSAD). During her studies, Orlaith took a year out to gain experience, moving to London to work with renowned designers Richard Nicoll and Alexander McQueen. After graduating, she relocated to New York, where she honed her skills as a pattern draughter for high-end designer Derek Lam.

Upon returning to Ireland, Orlaith worked in the fashion industry in Dublin before finding her true passion in bridalwear—often regarded as the pinnacle of luxury fashion. She eventually moved back to her hometown of Limerick to open The Attic Bridalwear Boutique.

Nestled in the heart of Limerick City, The Attic is a hidden gem for brides and their entourage. The boutique is filled with stunning dresses, each handpicked from top designers such as Elbeth Gillis, Jenny Yoo, and Alena Leena.

The Attic team, comprised of Orlaith, Mary, and Chloe, is dedicated to offering a personalized, one-on-one bridal experience. For us, it’s a deeply personal journey, and we strive to help every bride feel like her most beautiful, authentic self. We understand that every bride’s vision is unique, and many of our designers are happy to customize their designs to meet each bride’s specific wishes.
